As each new piece of our new Visitor Center and administration building falls into place, we are reminded of all the fantastic skilled tradespersons that are bringing it all to fruition.

Nearly all of the trades working on the project are Detroit area businesses. We are thrilled to be able to support these local businesses. These companies and their talented tradespersons have worked tirelessly onsite at Ford House and in their shops. They clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows.

The design of our new buildings was planned to complement the estate’s historical architecture and to meet high standards of environmental sustainability. As such, it’s a unique challenge to build, and the results will be a testament to the incredible skills of the many tradespersons on the job.
